Workshop {Part 1} & Casting Call! Franklin TN Newborn Photographer.
Two weeks ago today, I spent an amazing day at a workshop with Amber of Little Moon Photography, and with 5 other photographers from across the country. I learned so much and with a lot of help from Amber, was able to capture these images below of just one of the three little beauties in Amber’s natural light studio that day. If you know me in real life, you know I have really been torn about the newborn aspect of my business and had been seriously considering no longer photographing newborns. Well, I am excited to say that I am completely rejuvinated about newborns and am even more excited to announce my July Casting Call!

Meet handsome little J.
I wish I could claim responsibility for his adobrable giggle and smiles, but I have to give credit where credit is due…and it’s to his grandpa! This little guy would light up when he saw, or when we said, “Papa!”

I had such a wonderful time with this beautiful growing family last month! When they contacted me about a session, I was super excited because I hadn’t seen J’s mom or grandparents in years! I have known them for a really really long time having first met J’s aunt (did you follow that??) in Drama II class in high school, a really really long time ago. So when we set up the session, I was excited to hear that J’s grandparents would be coming and when they all got out of the car and J’s grandma starting chatting with me, it was seriously like I was 16 again, talking in their kitchen. Oh to be 16 again !
How beautiful is J’s mommy? This might be one of my most favorite photos I have ever taken.
Thank you for spending a rainy evening with me–It was so nice to see all of you and I hope that you love your images as much as I do!
